Claims Handling
 

We recommend you file a claim by calling toll-free 877-5-WARRANTY and choosing option #1 for the claims department. Our claims department is open 24 x 7 to serve you or answer any questions you may have.

Accidental Damage & Handling for Smartphones, Tablets & Laptops is processed within 3 - 5 days:
 
  1. The day you file a claim, we Fedex you a box for you to Ship the damaged device back to us.
  2. You overnight the damaged device to Us via Fedex.
  3. One of our Depot Centers Close to you receives the device, repairs it the same day in most cases, and overnights it back to you via Fedex.
  4. Your claim is processed is within 3- 5 days with all postage paid by Securranty.
 

Note: A $50 deductible applies to ADH claims. If your device is not repairable, we will replace your device with the same Brand & Model, if available.  If we cannot replace your device, we will reimburse you with a check for the for the full retail value of the device, even though you may have paid a subsidized price with a contract.  A 30 day waiting period may apply for ADH claims if your warranty was not purchased within 30 days of product purchase.

For Apple products, we may direct you to an Apple store to have your device repaired. The determination is made by our claims department at the time you file a claim.

Loss & Theft for Smart phones & Tablets is processed within 3 - 5 days:
 
  1. For a Lost claim, we require an affidavit of Loss by you at the time of claim filing.
  2. For a Theft claim, we require you to file a police report and provide us the case #. A copy of police report may be required.
  3. Your claim is processed within 3-5 days.
  4. If your phone or tablet cannot be replaced, you will receive a check for the for the full retail value of the phone up to $850, even though you may have paid a subsidized price with a contract.
 

Note: A $145 deductible applies to Loss & Theft claims. We may provide you a new replacement phone of same Brand & Model instead of a check, if available. The determination is made by our claims department at the time you file a claim. For iPhones you will more than likely receive a check as they are not available for replacement and usually back ordered.

Because we offer the most competitive pricing and coverage, we do not provide loaner phones. Our customers agree that the savings with our warranties are substantial enough for them to buy a spare phone or use an existing spare phone for 3 -5 days while their claim is being processed.

  • Once a claim is filed, you will receive a call within 24 hours to set up an appointment from one of our certified repair technicians in your area to provide In-home service. We estimate that your claim should be resolved within 24 to 48 hours, based on your availability for the technician to visit your home.

Accidental Damage & Handling

Accidental Damage & Handling (ADH): This optional coverage, available for smart phones, tablets, laptops & other mobile devices, protects you from high cost of repairs due to Accidental Damage or Handling of your product. The damage could be a result of a drop, spill or full immersion, you are covered with us. Manufacturers' warranty or Extended Warranty plans do not protect you from high cost of repairs due to Accidents. Zero deductible for claims filed for mechanical or electrical failure of a product due to manufacturer defect.

O.E.M. Parts: It is important that your warranty company uses only OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts when repairing your device. Not all warranty providers may use OEM parts to repair or service your device.

No Lemon Policy: After three (3) service repairs have been completed on an individual product, for the same defect, and that individual product requires a fourth repair, as determined by us, we will replace it with a product of comparable performance, not to exceed the original purchase price.
