What type of coverage options does Securranty provide?

Securranty provides the most comprehensive coverage for all your consumer electronics products at the best prices, guaranteed. Coverage for your items falls into one of the three specific categories listed below. A detailed description of your coverage can be viewed in your “My Securranty” account under the specific warranty.


1. Extended Warranty – This is an extended warranty plan that covers all electrical and mechanical failures that occur during normal use of your item. We cover your item for up to the full purchase price of the item excluding tax and shipping. Some examples of covered issues include a blank television screen, hard drive failure, and malfunctioning cell phone keypads.

2. Accidental Damage & Handling (ADH) – This optional coverage protects you against accidental damage and handling. Some covered issues include damage due to drops, spills, and full liquid immersion. ADH coverage is only offered for smartphones/mobile devices, laptops/notebooks, and tablets/e-readers.

3. Loss & Theft (LT) – This optional coverage protects you from loss/theft of your item. This coverage is only offered for smart phones & tablets and requires either a police report (for theft) or affidavit (for loss) at the time a claim is filed.  The coverage begins on the 31st day after policy is purchased.
