How does the claims process work for Loss & Theft?

Loss & Theft coverage begins on the 31st day after you purchase your policy form Securranty. For a lost phone claim, an Affidavit of Loss will be required from you at the time of claim filing. For a theft claim, we require you to file a police report and provide us the case number. A copy of police report may not be required.

 

1.       You file a claim with our claims department (by calling 1-877-592-7726

2.       Your claim is processed within 3-5 business days.

3.       You will receive a check for the for the full retail value of the phone up to $850, even though you may have paid a subsidized price with a contract for smart phones. 

 
Note: Deductible applies as per the Terms & Conditions.  We may provide you a new replacement phone of the same brand & model instead of a check, if available. For Apple products we may direct you to an Apple store to have your phone repaired. The determination is made by our claims department at the time you file a claim. Because we offer the most competitive pricing and coverage, we do not provide loaner phones. We feel that the savings our policies provide enable our customers to make arrangements for a spare/old phone during the short claims process.
